A quartet of local basketball members recall the January 19, 1965 game at the Brushfork Armory when Pocahontas edged Montcalm 2-1 including (l) Don Hodock and Bill Murphy of Pocahontas, Coach Carmen Stauffer and Perry “Butch” Simpson of Montcalm. Simpson controlled every quarter jump ball and Murphy scored the game's only basket.
